Our Mission
Pageant on Immortals began with a simple wish: to help more people discover the cultural treasure of Fujian Youshen.
For overseas Chinese, we hope this site can become a bridge back to the homeland and a familiar cultural warmth in another country.
For international audiences, we hope it becomes a window into Chinese culture and a real, layered, and compelling Eastern tradition.

Changle as a living window
Villages such as Houfu and Kefeng in Changle have become visible case studies, turning Youshen from a local affair into a point of return for visitors and overseas villagers.

Young designers, carriers, drummers, and volunteers are shaping deity figures, procession work, and public storytelling, keeping the ritual solemn while giving it new visual language.

From Mazu worship to Houfu as an overseas-Chinese hometown, Fujian coastal belief connects voyage, migration, return, and family memory.
